Take one project with an approximate value of £1m (so you are well above the limit as to when The Site Waste Management Plans Regulations 2008 apply)
Add one Client
Add one Landlord who has his own views on how the project should be procured
Add three separate buildings on the same site
Treat the works to all three buildings as one project for the purposes of the CDM Regulations
Appoint a different Principal Contractor per individual building
Result:
A set of Regulations that can, in these circumstances, be cumbersome and unnecessarily bureaucratic to apply.
